A renowned organist Georg Böhm (September 2 ,1661 - May 18, 1733) was born inside Hohenkirchen, Thuringia Germany. These are understand that for the period Böhm worked in the town of Hamburg, in which he will use at times exposed sustaining Johann Adam Reinken. He Late moved to Lüneburg, Hanover where in 1698 he became the organist of The Church of St. John, the position he held until his demise within 1733. Böhm is primarily known for his compositions for the organ and harpsichord (primarily preludes, fugues, and partitas), which became an influnce for the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
